What we’ve done

The Decolonising Wikipedia Network supports and initiates different knowledge exchange projects aimed at editing specific pages and sections within Wikipedia through the lenses of anti-racism and decolonisation. Find below details of two existing projects:

London’s Colonial Histories (October 2021 – July 2022)

This project ran in association with Wikimedia UK, the South London Gallery, the Crystal Palace Museum and a host of other external organisations. Find out more here.

Art Histories (Ongoing)

The Decolonising Wikipedia Network supports students and staff to edit and create pages for underrepresented and misrepresented practitioners and topics with a view to creating a fairer and more representational point of reference. Read more about this here.
